Get Involved

We are a community based organization, and are nothing without our community!

The Bennington County Conservation District exists to serve everyone in the county, from gardeners and farmers to conservation-minded neighbors, volunteers, and anyone who cares about our working lands and natural resources. We're a local, non-regulatory organization, and we rely on hearing directly from the community to do this work well.

Take our 2-minute survey below. Whether you're interested in volunteering, just starting out with a garden or small farm, an experienced grower, or simply want to stay connected to what's happening in the county, we want to hear from you. Everything is optional.
